ARNHEM FASHION BIENNIAL | Arnhem 2009

An evening gown - part of the main exhibition of the Arnhem Fashion Biennial - which is derived from the official Arnhem Fashion Biennial volunteers costume which I designed proudly. Also the pavilion itself didn't escape from the dynamic play of lines which bursted the silhouette from the dress even outside the design. Remark the little square T-shirt which accentuates the round forms of the 'T-dress' which normally is angular. The installment tells about contrast in form, color, material and it's effect on silhouette and draping. The central exhibition also included brands as Bernhard Willhelm, Christopher Kane, Hussein Chalayan, Lanvin, Maison Martin Margiela, Rock Ownens, Rodarte and Viktor & Rolf.
